HOW DO I CHECK IN MY CHILD?

Genesis KDS uses a number system for sign in. On your arrival to Genesis you will sign in your child at our Check-In table in the foyer. You will be assigned a number and your child will receive a name tag. You will then enjoy worship will your family, including your child. When worship is over and children church is announced from the front your child will then go to children’s church.

IS THIS A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR MY CHILD?

We strive hard at Genesis to keep our children safe. We have set up

-We now use Planning Center, a digital check in that ensures only the family members assigned (by you) to your household can pickup your child. Each child will have a printed name tag with a matching pickup tag. This tag will be needed for pickup.

-Installed cameras in our nursery to monitor all interactions.

-All of our teachers have been background checked and have gone through training.

IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERN AT ANY TIME ABOUT THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD PLEASE SET UP A MEETING WITH THE HEAD OF OUR CHILDREN’S CHURCH!

WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS BEEN SICK?

We strive hard to keep our facility clean and safe for all the children. If your child has been sick we ask that you keep them with you until they have fully recovered. If your child has had any of the following symptoms in the last 24 hours we ask that you wait until the following week to come back to Children’s Church:

-vomiting

-fever

-diarrhea

This is to ensure the safety of all our children and the safety of our staff.

HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER?

We are always in need of more volunteers and if you are interested in serving we would love to set up a meeting with you.

Please be aware that this position has strict protocol and you will need to:

-take a background check (provided by Genesis)

-take a training course (provided by Genesis)

-fill out a questionnaire and an interview with the head of our Children’s Ministry
